Getting to Casa Laura

Casa Laura is located on the Sea of Cortez side of Southern Baja.It's in the Punta Pescadero neighborhood, which is located about 25 minutes north of Los Barriles and just south of Cardonal. Driving to Casa Laura from the airport will take about 1.5 hours. You will be driving north on Highway 1 for the first hour, then after passing through Los Barriles, you will eventually be traveling on a dirt road that is breathtaking and exciting.The last half hour will be thrilling and picture worthy - so make sure you do it during the daylight hours! We will give you very detailed driving directions when you make your reservation.

Commercial Flights: You will fly into the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). This airport is located in San Jose del Cabo, which is about 25-30 minutes north east of Cabo San Lucas. From the airport, you can rent a car and drive to Casa Laura in Punta Pescadero, or arrange to be picked up through a local transportation service.

Car Rentals: there are many car rental choices at the San Jose del Cabo airport, including several American companies. If renting a car, please keep in mind that the last 30 minutes of your drive to Casa Laura is on dirt, so choose your car accordingly
